H-o-m-e, H-O-M-E! 🎉

Heading home

Sunday
Greetings from a mama who managed to sleep for 5.5 consecutive hours for the first time in a week.
Marsh and his dad had a boy’s night. Marsh was up late so he was still asleep when I returned to him this a.m. His nurse wasn’t able to chat long but his o2 and heart rate numbers looked ok to me.
I am not sure what the plan for today is ( as Marsh’s dad was half asleep when I was there) but know that it probably involves more labs, xray, And ekg.
More updates later.
Please send good thoughts and/or huge prayers .
Hugs and love❤
Ugh
Fever is back 37.9 Celsius
Friday fears turned into Saturday smiles
Yesterday was horrible for Marsh. As the day progressed, his breathing worsened in ways I can not even bear to describe.
All he wanted to do was have me hold him. And watch movies.
Today, though, brought an improvement.
Marsh woke up smiling
And had 2 big, big outs and one 1/2 cup of milk in.
He is presently drawing.
A complete 180 from yesterday for now🤞
Fever is down to 37 degrees Celsius
With motrin on board
Blood and urine cultures next
Please please please pray/send good thoughts/what have you
He was supposed to be discharged. Spiked fever between 103-104 degrees F
Happy THIRTEENTH Birthday, Sethđź’–đź’–đź’–đź’–đź’–đź’–

Post echo
Dr Kane (Friedman’s stand in) just stopped by. The echo looked good. The gradient and function are ok. They want to watch Marsh overnight and 🤞 make plan to get out of here.
Please oh please hope, pray, wish, beg, send vibes, what have you to get us back there…
