Marsh had a small pleural effusion one week ago when we left “heck” (to quote our ginger miracle.)

I finally counted up the number of times Marsh has been cathed.

I remembered 11 without even looking at his medical records. Not bad for an old lady;)

Marsh had his follow up with Dr Matott (pediatrician) today.

It was so-so.

His liver is enlarged. He is really limping. The left leg really hurts. The “oozing” (bleeding) finally settled down. The bruising has worsen. Vitals are ok.

In good news, he is perking up…and more mobile yesterday and today than Friday and Saturday.

Long story short Marsh woke with excruciating headache, vomited and has a blue streak of leaking blood running down the left side of his head. This combined with the state of his arm brought us here.

Marsh had a poke (horrific experience we will save for another day).

The labs came back ok.

He had an ultrasound on his neck. The ultrasound findings indicate it is not a clot… Just a post cath “ooze.”

Plan is do do x-ray and send him home (if it is clear and all is well).

Marsh had not only had a scratched eye but also a PIV infiltration issue upon discharge from Boston. Ice, super-duper careful monitoring, and being home helped yesterday.

Today he woke with an excruciating headache.

We are on our way to Upstate.
