His first trick or treating experience!!
Halloween Parade
Marshall’s First Halloween
This is how Marshall’s First Halloween began:
In the excited anticipation of today, Marshall’s big brothers accidentally woke him.
As Marshall was waking up (he is a slow starter like me) and nibbling on his cereal, Isaac shared his mask by placing it on Marshall’s head.
Of course, Marshall successfully (and quickly) removed the mask Isaac placed on him since anything on his head is pretty much instantly disliked.
I wasn’t fast enough to get a picture of Marshall in the mask. But I got this one ;-).
Marshall’s expression captures his shock that the flash was accidentally left on…
We all (including Marshall) had a giggle.
The best way to start a day…
We hope you laugh, too.
HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE HALLOWEEN!!!
This Wild Haired Wild Boy Baby
was such a good boy for his cardiologist appointment!!
Dr S measured a small increase in the blockage. He also made a few meds changes.
Marshall has grown another half inch and weighs in at just a few ounces short of sixteen pounds! My goal is to fatten him up to 20 pounds by his first birthday.
We go back in one week.
Then the week after that.
Then the week after that.
Then the week after that.
Just to watch, wait, and see what our ginger miracle and his heart do next…
Please please keep him in your thoughts/prayers if you can. If the blockage continues/occurs/happens again, Marshall will need another operation on the veins that is not guaranteed to even work for long if it works at all…
First Post-Cath Appointment This Afternoon
Marshall sees Dr S in just a few hours.
I tend to choose ridiculous optimism whenever babies and children are involved.
Every kid deserves someone who believes in them endlessly, no matter what.
For these four wild boys, that person is me.
Breathe…
All smiles and business
Ginger Boys at the lake
Ginger Cuddles
First Bite of (Gluten Free) Bagel!!
In the meantime
I just got off of the phone with Dr S.
His “Congratulations!” and enthusiasm that we’re home is phenomenal.
Honestly, we just love him :-).
Marshall has to go for his post-cath follow-up on Thursday afternoon.
Please please please please send/beg/borrow/even steal any good thoughts you can in the meantime that this blockage issue is gone and stays gone…
