Seth lost his first top tooth and Marshall gained one!
New top tooth arrived today!
The top right tooth is here. It was discovered during his visit with his pediatrician.
And it’s right sided “neighbor” will be here soon…as well as the teeth to the left…
Between the g.i. stuff and new teeth, Marshall’s not sleeping well. Which means even less sleep for me…
Who needs sleep anyway??
Just in time for Marshall’s first birthday
Marshall managed to crawl, in his own way, approximately four feet today while Michael was busy in his computer and I was scrubbing the kitchen.
I am both entirely amazed at what this little ginger baby is capable of and so incredibly thankful.
Marshall is also attempting to cut four (!) top teeth at the same time (all are visible and just hours/perhaps a day or two from popping through.)
And he is coughing…this combined with the g.i. stuff equals another trip to the pediatrician tomorrow morning…
Please send good thoughts. We are all sooo looking forward to his first birthday celebration in just 6 days!!
First Cardiologist Appointment Of 2015: Success
Marshall’s appointment with cardiologist Dr S went well today. His heart looks alright – as in, there is no change in function or gradient and Glens are working well.
Marshall has only gained an ounce but has had awful g.i. stuff going on so we have an appointment with his pediatrician and have to decrease one of his meds until his belly issues resolve.
Many thanks for the prayers and good thoughts….Sending them right back to you ❤
Now to prepare for Marshall's FIRST BIRTHDAY :-….)
Cardiologist Appointment for Captain Crazy Hair
Happy New Year!
He stood alone today!
It has been ages. Please forgive me. Life burns all of the energy I have to expend. And leaves so little for my second greatest passion…
Today I witnessed the proof: Marshall inherited his daredevilish, mule stubbornish ways from me (and maybe his dad…the jury’s out on that since Michael strikes me as the cautious, precise type whereas I’m pretty reckless at times 😉 ).
Anyway this littlest ginger miracle showed me just how determined he is when he wants something. We were playing before physical therapy and pushing around a walker he received as a Christmas gift when…VOILA! Marshall. Stood. Alone.
Yes, “mean” mom (me) was trying to help Marshall push his walker when he “hulked” for lack of a better term (for better understanding imagine an irritated Incredible Hulk and you’ll get it!)
Marshall pushed the walker away.
Marshall pushed me away.
And there he stood.
Alone. And well balanced. For something like 5 seconds.
Y’all know what comes next, right? My crazy busy life will be tuned to listening to (and chasing after) the pitter-patter of four sets of wild boy feet RUNNING.
My. Goodness. I. Can. Not. Wait.
