CICU Day 8, post a.m. rounds

They just rounded. There are no beds in 8 east so they are going to do things here in 8 south as they would on 8 east. Vitals every 4 hours. Reducing lasix to 2x per day. Same meds as home (with 2 extra slidenifil and the lasix)

Tentative discharge tomorrow provided there are no events. Hope/wish/pray/think with everything you have for his release

Labs in the a.m.

Love, hugs, & so very thankful❤❤❤❤

CICU Day 6 pre-pm rounds

Marsh took a third walk today and fell asleep after the first two.

He threw up again while I was out catching up laundry and showering. I ran back to the hospital (beautiful day for a jog!) as Marsh was having his echo. A few hours later, a Fellow (doc) delivered the echo results.

Marsh’s heart looks good (though the function is slightly worse function as we expected) just waiting on a room on 8 East.

And our tickets out of here to back home where we belong…

Lastly, we had a consult to get him a wheelchair so he can participate in adventures and have the option of resting.

Overall he had a decent day but please keep those prayers and good thoughts coming.

So many thanks and so much love❤

CICU Day 7 post rounds

They just rounded. Marsh is definitely going to 8 east. They are switching iv meds to taken by mouth. They are ordering some gi meds to get him to go #2. They have plans to remove an access line in his neck provided surgical team agrees.

And they mentioned an echo so that maybe just maybe with a hope and a prayer we can get out of this joint.

Please keep sending those healing energies, good thoughts, and massive prayers.

Hugs, thanks, and love ❤
