Echo revealed a glob of leftover tissue from surgery in his av canal. Dr Smith reached out to Dr. Friedman to compare echos and there has been no change so it is watchful waiting for now. Heart function appears to be the best it has been. No signs of plueral effusions in echo.

Marsh is still in junctional, not sinus, rhythm. And his blood pressure is a little high.

Marsh had labs. Dr. Smith is waiting on xray because Marsh’s breathing has improved.

The chest incision site appears angry. Marsh is going on bigger antibiotic in addition to his prophylactic amoxicillian.

The chest drain stitches are out.

Marsh is not ready to wean down from the 3x daily lasix but Dr Smith may try going down on duiretic once labs are back.

Marsh returns next week for follow up.
