Marsh is stable and in “great” shape (direct quote). He is in junctional, not sinus, rhythm and being paced. Rounding doc suspects meds are at part to blame with the small possibility of needing a pacemaker. So they are weaning him off of the Dex and intend to put him in prophenol (spelling?) late this evening.

He will not be extubated today. They are weaning down from the nitric and want that off for some time before they pull the tube.

And they are going up on the milrinone.
