He is ok.

Thank you so much for all of the prayers already sent. Please keep them coming.

Dr. Baird just met with us. Marsh is stable and on his way to 8 South (the cardiac icu.)

Dr. Baird could not complete the fontan. Dr Baird tried twice and we would have lost Marsh. So Marsh has what is the hemi fontan.

Dr. Baird found massive amounts of microscopic collaterals that a cath would not have resolved. He cleared tissue especially the right pulmonary veins and repaired the anomalous pulmonary veins (all with marsh’s natural tissur). And he also managed to do some work on the interior vena cava.

Marsh’s oxygen levels went from the low 80s% up to 95% and will likely land in the 90s range (which is a significant improvement. )

We will need to return early summer for a cath and 4th surgery for the fontan completion if that is what Marsh needs.

Minutes after the discussion with Dr. Baird, Dr. Friedman called with ample reassurance. He is out of town presently and relieved Dr. Baird did not try to force the fontan.

And when it is time for the fontan, it is a simple 45 minute surgery.

Please pray hard. The next part is up to Marsh.

Hugs, so many thanks, and so much love❤
