Upstate all nighter

Marshall has been admitted to upstate.   We don’t know much of anything yet despite eight hours in the E.R.  He was retching, vomiting, and turning all colors between 5 -6:30 tonight.  So I held him, cleaned him up, and totally panicked.

Two emails and one call to Boston later we ended up here.

He slept in our arms most of the night.  We hadn’t slept at all in 24 hours.

24 hours awake minus a 20 minute catnap equals really terrible writing… so bear with me please.

Abdominal and chest x rays revealed nothing we didn’t already know.

An ekg and echocardiogram revealed a little we didn’t know.

Blood work showed “nothing too bad” from a highly qualified source.  Though “nothing too bad” could be due to “lots of possibilities. ”

So we wait.
And try not to let worry settle in.

He is here in my arms and I am so thankful for that…

And Marshall is just unhappy unless he is in my arms bouncing,  sleeping, or eating.

So it is a win-win in many ways…
