Life keeps putting people in our lives to remind us of where we could be and to take nothing for granted.

Our roommate, beautiful, blond Baby K is a 14 month old. She and her parents have been here for 7.5 weeks.  She is very, very, very sick. She can’t even sit up.

From what I have inferred and overheard, she is in heart failure. Likely the latter stages.  And her parents are just getting the run around from her doc.

And as I was sneaking out of the pump room on 8 South (shhh I needed some quiet), I ran into Baby J’s mom & twin sister.  Though it was great to see them, the news wasn’t so great.  Baby J is still in the CICU and now has an unexplainable fever.

And I haven’t had time to check in on Baby B since early this week.

Send some good thoughts this way please. Everyone here needs them…and as today reminded me, dome more than others.
