Morning, from 8 East
Marsh had to have an iv placed last night and that was quite traumatizing. His sats, respirations, and heart rate were a little out of line. The Xray came back unchanged from January. Labs were ok except for elevated hematocrit.
They have started iv fluids.
Marsh is not allowed to eat or drink today so he won’t be very happy in a little while once he is fully awake.
The plan is to forward with the cath this afternoon. Marsh is an add on so he may get bumped. 🤞 he doesn’t.
Hugs and love❤
Watch out 8 East, Marshall is back!

Marsh has been admitted…without a room for a while

Dr. Friedman was here. Marsh definitely needs a cath to measure the pressures in the Glenn and determine how the pulmonary veins are.
If it is just scar tissue near the surgical site, they can balloon dilate and perhaps stent the areas in cath lab.
Dr. Friedman wants longterm solutions so we do not have to return every 6 months for caths. If it is more than scar tissue, there are a few options left.
Please send good thoughts/pray ❤
