They are now dilating the left veins and will be wrapping up in the next hour or so. Then we meet with Dr Esch (the cath lab doctor)… And finally see Marsh once he is settled on 8 South

More dilating of the veins

Balloon dilating the veins now. Will be a couple of more hours.

They just called with the update. They drained a significant amount of fluid off of the right lung and his saturations came up. He stable and he is ok. The cath doctor is doing the measurements right now in terms of function, pressures, and such. They will update me (and you all) in another hour.

The cath nurse just called. He laughed all the way to sleep. Old iv out, new in. Gaining access now. Cath is underway officially once the sheaths are placed

They took him back. They will call in an hour with an update.

Morning from 8 South! The night was the same as they have been since the cardioversion. He is sleeping peacefully after staying up late eating popcorn and lemonade. Echo is underway now. Cath mid day. Plans after the cath may include a pacemaker depending upon cath findings. Hugs, love, and thanks❤
