Grandma delivered some that everyone sent. Plus this a.m. I got to plaster his little head in kisses!
Happy ten days, baby boy!
And it went well!! Going up to see for ourselves in a bit.
We just got the call. They will be closing in the next hour or two. Here’s to hope that this will allow him to move to the next steps (weaning from the ventilator and feeding). And maybe just maybe this will make us one step closer to having him back in our arms…
Maestro was here waiting for Marshall when Marshall was born. (And Maestro is temporarily wearing Marshall’s cape as he gathers his superhero strength.) And Dandelion was one of the first gifts I got for our little miracle…
Our visit with Marshall this a.m. reminded me of two things: Marshall is hanging on. And too much time in hospital a hospital makes one lose their grip on time. Marshall’s team was doing rounds and Dr. Luis stopped in when they were wrapping up. May you never know the fear in that settles in […]
And Marshall’s levels are a bit higher tonight than they were this morning. Though it isn’t at an alarming level according to his nurse, I’m worried. Say a little prayer (if you have one to spare) that the lactate goes back down after his nurse works her magic. We will know more by midnight. ..
