Just took 2nd walk and made it 35 ft and back!

Marsh walked 27 feet to a nurses station and back to his bed. The walk was heartbreaking to watch and beyond extremely painful because of his chest drain, but he did it. ❤

Dr Baird had a terrible time getting through the scar tissue. So he had to open him up all the way. Pacemaker is in place and working. Chest drain is in as a preventative especially considering the plueral effusions. We will see him in an hour or so❤

They called with the first update: Dr. Baird began at 7:03 p.m. I will let you know more when I do.

They just took him back. He was crying for me despite the mezz cocktail…

Between 4:30- 5 pm

Rounds were not very exciting… Just observe and do labs in the morning. Possible OR trip for pacemaker Wednesday.
