Cath 16

The poke was a painful fail.

They just took him back.

Update 1
He has a wonderful Irish (from Dublin) nurse named Mags who reassured him when they gave him the sleepy meds in the cath room. They have access and (fingers crossed) are working their magic now.

Update 2 He’s doing fine.

Update 3 They balloon dilated the left upper pulmonary veins. They are wrapping up now.

Meeting with Dr Esch (cath doctor) and will see him in a bit.

Please please send those good thoughts and prayers.

Post cath

D⁰r Esch consulted with us.

The left upper pulmonary veins have a small bleed. They hope that is under control and are going easy with the anticoagulation overnight to not make that worse.

Dr Esch balloon dilated only the left veins. The upper left were narrowed the most. The right veins were fine.

The ventricle function is hanging in there.

The heart rate is ok he was in and out of sinus rhythm. No high rates though (and usually the cath provokes arrhythmia. )

The Glen pressure is still too high but they brought it down by 2…when they started the cath it was 22 and when they finished it was 20.

They are thinking return again for a cath in 9 months to one year (unless Marsh needs help sooner.)

We have not talked to Dr Friedman (yet).

Marsh is sound asleep and comfortable right now though he did ask for me (thus the delay in updating you all.)

His dad and I are with him now.

Thank you so much for the good thoughts and prayers. Please keep sending them.

Sending so many thanks & so much love ❤️
