Pre-op and reunion with Dr. Friedman

I had to blink tears on the taxi ride to the hospital.  It’s surreal to be here now.

But I am so thankful.
Marsh flew through pre-op with minimal resistance.  He didn’t even cry when he had his labs! Dr. Friedman stepped in as we were talking about the plan for tomorrow’s Cath.

We were all happy to be reunited for healthy reasons. A warm exchange of hugs, high fives, and handshakes welcomed us all back.

Dr. Friedman was amazed at how big and well Marsh is doing.  As for the rest, tomorrow’s Cath will tell us more about the pressures and function of Marsh’s special heart.

Marsh is first case tomorrow so it’s another early morning for our ginger night owl.  Maybe I will just haul him in his footies and fuzzy blankie!

Please still send good thoughts and healthy prayers.  I can not wait to have the four wild boys together again!

So many, many, MANY thanks ❤
