Marshall had his cardiologist appointment today with Dr S.  It was the first appointment since OCTOBER (wahoo!) and we have mixed news. 
The good news is the gradient in Marsh’s pulmonary veins is unchanged. The not so good news is Marsh’s heart function has not improved and is the same as it was six months ago (we all have been hoping hard for improvement over time as the heart heals.)

And Marsh now has a “very small but rather common with single ventricles” leak from his aortic valve.
Since it has been 2 years, 3 months, and 10 days since we last took Marsh to Boston, Dr S says we are “overdue” and need to go to get things checked out. 
And prepare for the third surgery… 

It’s been a long day after one of the longest months of my life so far so no more thinking for me today…
