I’m starting this post with gratitude: thank goodness we have a break in the weather!

Now if we could just catch a break with all of the sickness.

Marshall’s sickness from last week resolved but has evolved into new yech. The runny nose he developed after the ER trip has progressed to terrible congestion, low O2 saturations, a nasty cough, and (thankfully) NOT THE FLU.

But he does have an ear infection…as does his big ginger brother.

Our great team at the pediatrician squeezed us in this a.m. when I noticed Marshall’s rapid breathing, rattling chest, and wheezing.

A handful of prescriptions and some major stress later, we’re home under the condition we take him back if he worsens.

Please send a good thought or prayer if you have one to spare for Marshall…and his brothers…

And maybe while you’re at it, send one for a dear family friend’s son whose battling similar symptoms in a hospital hours away.

Enough is enough with all this sick…
