Marshall’s echo is in 45 minutes.  Send big thoughts/prayers/whatever you can spare to our little fighting miracle.

As for how he is doing, he is grumpy today (which is nothing unusual since his body needs time to adjust to the new circulation).  This morning he had the last of the wires removed.  He also had his incision checked by the skin team.  There are a few areas of concern (please please hope with all of your might it isn’t an infection. )  And he started this weird gagging that could be the combination of teething drool and all of the equipment shoved down his throat the past week.

I hope.

He leaves for a sedated echo in a half hour. 

Here’s to hope that Marshall is ok and that we can get home soon.
