Hold that…Spleen

We received a letter from our hometown cardiologist which stalled Marshall’s spleen victory.

I am saving the story of the incompetence for Marshall’s book.  It will probably take me that long to cool off and find the grace needed to retell the incident objectively.

But I’m furious.

The letter we received today states that results of the disgnostic testing “strongly suggest the presence of a spleen.”

The tests do not, however, confirm it.

Therefore, it is safe to conclude that Marshall essentially may have been unnecessary exposed to potentially life threatening risks.  What’s worse is, we chose to follow the recommendation to ditch the amoxicillin.

The reality is he lives with three germ factories.  And has been in contact with others.

The way I see it is this: our baby gets to pay for this by having to starve for another half night then get poked & prodded all over again.
