Marshall had a belly button FINALLY!  He lost his umbilical stump yesterday during a late afternoon diaper change.  And he now has an outie-innie just as the nurses in the CICU said. 

They also warned it would take longer for this event to happen thanks to the umbilical line our little miracle had during Round 1 Boston.

Marshall has also topped his birth weight.  He actually surpassed it.  Je now weighs in at 6 lbs 12 oz.   So we have another 6 lbs and 4 oz to pack on before Round 2 Boston.

Truthfully, I can’t believe he will have to have at least 2 more surgeries.   All of us get lost in the baby love and forget from time to time of his extraordinariness. 

Speaking of which, he rolled completely over in bed this a.m.!  When he accomplishes such feats, I always wonder what the rush is!
