They just called and said Marshall’s surgery may be this afternoon.

We saw the docs while they made rounds. They have decided to leave the tapvr alone for now, monitor closely with echocardiograms, and see how he does.

They also said that the only reason they may move his surgery up is because availability of o.r. and the timing is good for him.

Insert two very very very small breaths of relief. My instincts leaned toward leaving the tapvr alone so he can get bigger… And if his surgery isn’t today, I can do my part to feed him and help.

Small breaths and big hope.
